Xiaomi and Zimi recently released a series of 33W GaN chargers with the compact size of a 5W charging head. According to recent reports, the company will release its highest-rated GaN charger soon. Presently, Xiaomi has a 65W GaN charger and this is the highest. Nevertheless, the Xiaomi 120W GaN charger will launch soon if the speculations are true. As of now, only the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra supports up to 120W fast charging. Thus, this charger can deliver full capacity only with this smartphone.
It’s important to note that this charger will also work for other compatible devices, probably notebooks inclusive. However, it may not deliver full capacity if the device does not support 120W charging. According to the report, this device will support Black Sharks’ upcoming flagships. There are reports that the Black Shark 4 and 4 Pro will support up to 120W fast charging. Xiaomi currently sells GaN chargers in three models: 33W, 55W, and 65W. The 65W Gan charger costs about $20. Thus, the Xiaomi 120W GaN charger should cost more than $20.
