Meizu 18 and Meizu 18 Pro now available offline

A few days ago, Meizu officially unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, Meizu 18 seriesToday, Meizu Technology officially announced that the first offline experience stores now have the Meizu 18 series in stock. The company lists a couple of offline stores including Meizu Mall, JD Home, and TMall Home.

The Meizu 18 series is portable, comfortable, and uses a “small and beautiful” design.  The Meizu 18 comes with a 6.23-inch Dynamic AMOLED center punch-hole display with a quad-curved screen design. This device supports a 3200 x 1440 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz touch sampling rate. For the Pro model, it uses a 6.7-inch Samsung E4 AMOLED hyperboloid screen with a resolution of 3200 x 1400. This smartphone also supports a screen refresh rate of 120Hz  while the touch sampling rate is 240Hz. This display also supports 526ppi, 1300nit local peak brightness, and 4096 brightness adjustment.

 

The Meizu 18 series comes with the top-notch and latest flagship Snapdragon 888 processor. These smartphones also support LPDDR5 RAM, UFS3.1 storage, and WiFi 6E. Furthermore, they support NFC, dual speakers, horizontal linear motor, mEngine 4.0 tactile engine, mBack 2.0, Meizu Pay, and OneMind 5.0. The Meizu 18 supports up to 12GB LPPD5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 flash memory. This device also uses a large-area VC liquid cooling radiator.

The Pro model comes with a Samsung GN1 sensor 50MP main camera and a 32MP ultra-wide-angle lens. It is also equipped with an 8MP telephoto that supports 3x optical zoom, 30x digital zoom, and OIS+EIS hybrid anti-shake. This device also has a 3D depth sensor. On the front is a Samsung GH1 44MP 1.4μm four-in-one sensor. As for the regular version, it uses a 20MP front camera that supports face unlock, screen fill light, backlight selfie, and front super night view. It also supports a triple rear camera with a 64MP Sony IMX682 main sensor. Furthermore, there is a 16MP wide-angle macro lens (Samsung S5K3P9SX sensor) as well as an 8MP camera.

Meizu 18 series battery

The Meizu 18 uses a 4000 mAh battery that supports 36W Super mCharge fast charging, up to 30W fast charging with a bright screen, and can charge 80% of the power in 33 minutes. However, the Pro model comes with a 4500mAh battery that supports PD, QC4 + protocol, VC liquid cooling Heat dissipation.

Colour option, Price, and availability

These phones are up for pre-orders in China through multiple e-commerce sites. While the Meizu 18 will be available in white, blue, and purple colours, the Meizu 18 Pro will be available in white, blue, and grey colours.
