Huawei P50 series is ready for mass production
Huawei’s smartphone business is not doing very well in China because of the ban by the U.S. However, the company will not entirely close its smartphone business. It recently sold its Honor sub-brand to another Chinese firm and it appears that this is the best it will do. Despite its very poor sales outside China, the company is still releasing new smartphones. The latest report claims that Huawei is completely ready to release its next flagship smartphone, the Huawei P50 series.
Gizchina News of the week
According to @Teme, the prototype design for this series is ready. Furthermore, this series will go into mass production very soon. However, the report also shows that the Huawei P50 series will have only three versions. The company will release the Huawei P50, P50 Pro, and P50 Pro+. In terms of specs, what we know as “Lite” model in the previous generation will be the new standard version. In addition, the standard version in the previous generations will be the new Pro model while the previous generation Pro model will be the new Pro+ model.
Teme claims that the selling points of this series include screen quality, a new super-sensitive rear camera system, and brand new gaming features. His leak also has information on the processor of this series. He claims that the Huawei P50 (standard model) will use the Kirin 9000E chip. However, the Huawei P50 Pro and P50 Pro+ will come with the Kirin 9000 SoC.
There have been reports that Huawei will obtain a new RYYB module for production. Thus, it is likely that the company will use this technology for the Huawei P50 new super sensory rear camera system.
The Leica collab P-x0 phones always did a great job with the cameras and had stuff like an IR blaster. But… I'm thinking to go with OnePlus/Hasselblad next.
