OnePlus 9 series appears on Geekbench – uses SD888 & 12GB RAM

The OnePlus 9 series will be official on March 24th. The latest reports show that these devices are now on the GeekBench database. The main specifications of the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro are all on Geekbench database. While the codename LE2115 is the OnePlus 9, LE2125 should be OnePlus 9 Pro. The Geekbench website reveals the chipset, RAM, and software details.

Of course, the OnePlus 9 series will come with a chipset codenamed “lahaina”. This is the Snapdragon 888 processor. There have been reports that only the Pro model will use this chip. However, recent leaks show that the regular OnePlus 9 will also use the Snapdragon 888 SoC. In addition, OnePlus 9 series will arrive with 12GB of RAM and run on Android 11.

This phone will come with the Snapdragon 888 chip. This device also uses a 6.55-inch 120Hz refresh rate FHD+ resolution screen with a size of 70×151 mm. Furthermore, it features 3 camera sensors and is also Hasselblad tuned. The lens part will include the two main cameras and 2MP cameras of the OP9 Pro. This smartphone will also come with a built-in 4500 mAh battery that supports a 65W fast charging head. The least configuration will be 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device will also be available in glossy black, blue, and purple.

OnePlus 9 Pro

OnePlus has announced the design of the OnePlus 9 Pro, revealing its gray body shape and rectangular camera module. This smartphone will be equipped with four cameras, and OnePlus has confirmed that it will include a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 ultra-wide-angle camera. There are also three cameras, namely a 48-megapixel IMX789 main camera, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 2-megapixel lens. The latter two lenses support laser autofocus. This device also supports recording 8K video (30 FPS) and 4K video (120 FPS). The OnePlus 9 Pro is also believed to be equipped with a 120Hz QHD + display. There is also a metal frame, notification slider, and the device will be available in black, green, and silver.

This device will use a 6.7-inch 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED screen as well as the Snapdragon 888 chip. Of course, it will have the Hasselblad quad rear cameras (including a 48MP main camera, 50MP auxiliary main camera, 8MP, and 2MP lenses). This device will also support 8K video (30 FPS) and 4K video (120 FPS). It will have at least 12GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The Geekbench model list confirmed that the OnePlus 9 Pro will use the Snapdragon 888 chipset. It will also have up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage space. The phone may support 65W fast charging. We also expect other features like 5G, wireless fast charging, stereo speakers, and waterproof and dustproof etc.
