Oppo Find X3 Neo and Lite – The more affordable ways to join Find X3 series

Oppo Find X3 Neo

Today is one of the biggest days of 2021 for all Oppo enthusiasts across the world. The company has just unveiled a new duo of flagship smartphones – Oppo Find X3 and Oppo Find X3 Pro – that bring the whole set of advanced technologies and hardware developed by Oppo in the last year. However, the duo of high-tier devices isn’t the only way to have an Oppo Find X3 experience. As expected, the Chinese company unveiled two more affordable phones dubbed Oppo Find X3 Neo and Find X3 Lite. Even though these are more affordable alternatives, they still are valid choices for entering the family of Oppo flagships.

Oppo Find X3 Neo specifications

The Oppo Find X3 Neo leads the way with a Snapdragon 865 SoC. Instead of going with the newer Snapdragon 870 (Snapdragon 865++), the brand picked the vanilla SD865 as it may be cheaper than newer chipsets. Despite this, the Snapdragon 865 can run anything without any hassle and still is way above any other chip in the mid-range segment. The processor is paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of Storage which isn’t expandable.

The Find X3 Neo flaunts a 6.5-inch curved FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. This panel has a top-left aligned punch-hole serving as a home for a 32MP selfie snapper. It is an HDR10 panel and also has an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication. Moving around to the back, we have a Quad-camera setup headlined by the same 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS present on the flagship Oppo Find X3 models. The main camera is paired with a 16MP ultrawide and a 13MP telephoto camera as well as a 2MP macro shooter. Interestingly, the back has Oppo’s Glow design texture which may handle smudges and fingerprints.

Those interested in the Find X3 Neo will need to pay £699 (~€815/$975) but the sales will start only on April 14. The device is available in Starlight Black and Galactic Silver colorways. If you’re familiar with Oppo releases, you’ll notice that the Find X3 Neo is a rebranded Oppo Reno5 Pro Plus.

Find X3 Lite specifications

While the Neo can be classified as a flagship, the Find X3 Lite is a premium mid-range smartphone. It packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of Internal Storage. Again, the device does not come with a microSD card slot. The Lite flaunts a 6.4-inch AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. It has a top-left punch hole and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Moving around to the back, we have a Quad-Camera array composed of a 64MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultrawide snapper, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.

Oppo Find X3 Lite

The X3 Lite draws power from a 4,300mAh battery with the very same 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 charging system. The Oppo Find X3 Lite is also the only model from the lineup that has a 3.5mm headphone jack. We also have Android 11-based with ColorOS 11.1 running on top.

The Oppo Find X3 Lite is available in Galactic Silver, Astral Blue, and Starry back colorways. The price will be £399 which equates to €465/$560. This is the most affordable way to have an Oppo Find X3 smartphone.
