OnePlus is gearing up to launch the OnePlus 9 series on March 23. However, the company feels that today is the right time to reveal one of the OnePlus 9 Pro colorways, which effectively shows the handset in all its glory. Today, OnePlus CEO, Pete Lau decided to reveal the OnePlus 9 Pro in its Morning Mist colorways. It not only reveals the color but also showcases the design of the handset from all sides. As expected, the OnePlus 9 Pro flaunts a curved display and a top-left-aligned punch-hole cutout. On the back, we have a Quad-Camera setup with the Hasselblad logo.
The OnePlus 9 Pro is a beautiful smartphone and represents a major departure in terms of design for the OnePlus flagship series. The OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 7 family has a similar camera shape on the back. The brand started to differentiate with the OnePlus 8T and now the formula seems to be finished. OnePlus flagships are leaving the center-aligned horizontal cameras in favor of the trending squareish camera island. Apart from the Morning Mist colorway, the phone will also come in Astral Black and Pine Green colors. If you want to see these colors, you’ll probably need to wait until March 23 event.

OnePlus 9 Pro
The curved display of the OnePlus 9 Pro is a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with WQHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. We assume that there is some sort of Gorilla Glass coating on top along with HDR10+ support. The fingerprint scanner will be placed under the display just like previous OnePlus flagships. Moving around to the back, we have a Quad-Camera setup branded by Hasselblad. It comprises a 48MP Sony IMX789 sensor and a 50MP Sony IMX766 snapper. The other two sensors are an 8MP telephoto lens with a 3.3x optical zoom and a 2MP depth sensor.
The right edge of the phone will have the usual alert slider and the power button. The left part serves as a home for the volume buttons. Worth noting that this will be an aluminum frame.
Under the hood, the OnePlus 9 Pro boasts the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. It will come with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of Internal Storage. The phone will draw its powers from a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast-charging technology. Moreover, the device is set to come with 50W wireless fast-charging. Worth noting that OnePlus is going against recent trends and will include the charging brick in the phone’s retail package.
The company also took the opportunity to reveal the Winter Mist color of the vanilla OnePlus 9. This standard variant will come in Stellar Black, Artic Sky, and Winter Mist colors.
The duo of flagships will become alongside a third smartphone that will come with the OnePlus 9R moniker. This device is supposedly an upper mid-range smartphone.
