Xiaomi teases Mi 11 series launch in India

Xiaomi unveiled the Mi 11 smartphone last year. The first vanilla model came before the other models to catch the first batch of the Snapdragon 888 series. With its release shortly after the Qualcomm high-end chipset launch, Xiaomi could make the Mi 11 the world’s first smartphone with a Snapdragon 888 chip what was good for marketing purposes. Now, three months later, the company is gearing up to launch new variants dubbed Mi 11 Pro and 11 Ultra. While the Mi 11 is still limited to the Chinese market, Xiaomi took to Twitter today to tranquilize its Mi fans in India. According to the company, it’s worth the wait.

According to Xiaomi India post, the Mi 11 will be revealed in the country “soon”. However, the tweet does not say whether will the Mi 11 phone, or the 11 Pro and 11 Ultra will join in India. The company is promising “an all-new smartphone experience”. Launching all the variants would be the best possible choice, at least for customers. Well, the tweet clearly says “Mi 11 series” so we can expect more than one smartphone. There is even a new 11 Lite that perfectly fits in India due to the appeal of mid-range cost-effective phones there.

Gizchina News of the week

Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra

The Indian market is a key market for Xiaomi and with strong competitors coming from OnePlus and Realme, we believe that the company should release its flagship series in the country as soon as possible.

Mi 11 Lite, Mi 11 Pro and Mi MIX 4 spotted on TENAA database

Meanwhile, the 11 Lite, 11 Pro, and a third unnamed Xiaomi phone, presumably the foldable Mi MIX 4 passed by TENAA certification. The 11 Lite bears model number M2101K9C and has just one option with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of Storage. We still need to see the chipset, but this configuration isn’t common for a “Lite” smartphone. The 11 Pro, on the other hand, has options with 8GB RAM with 256GB of storage, and 12GB of RAM with 256GB of Internal Storage. The Pro variant has model number M2102K1AC.

Xiaomi MIX 4 Pro Max

While we’re considering the M2011J18C as Mi Mix 4 it may end as another Xiaomi device. However, the specifications show that this phone is a premium handset – It has 512GB of Internal Storage and two RAM choices – 12GB of RAM and 16GB of RAM. The company isn’t playing games in the hardware department with this device. We believe that this configuration is perfect for an appealing and expensive foldable phone.

The Mi 11 Lite and Mi 11 Pro are expected for the March 29 event. There still no confirmation about the foldable device, but we would love to see it as “one more thing”.
