Oppo is doing a stellar job with its recent smartphones since all of them are coming with Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1 straight out of the box. Meanwhile, some of the last year’s models are yet to receive the highly-anticipated firmware update. The company recently introduced the Oppo Find X3 series with Android 11 straight out of the box. The last year’s models came with Android 10 since it was the latest Android version available. As the flagships of 2020, the duo was among the first to receive the update. The company rolled out Android 11 for the Find X2 and Find X2 Pro in beta and stable forms already. Now, it is finally bringing it to the Oppo Find X2 Lite and Neo variants.
The Oppo Find X2 Lite Android 11 rollout in Europe has begun
According to user reports, the Chinese brand is rolling out Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 skin for the Find X2 units in Germany. The new firmware carries software version number CPH2005_11_C.76. Although the availability is quite limited at this point, we expect more markets to get it pretty soon. The new update comes a few days after the rollout of Android 11 for the Oppo Find X2 Neo in Europe.

It’s interesting to see that users report coming out all around while Oppo is yet to give a public statement. In fact, the company’s official roadmap shows the Android 11 covering the smartphone in the EU and EEA regions within the first quarter of the year. We’re glad to see that the company managed to stick with this schedule. After all, we’re a couple of days to see the end of the first quarter of 2021.
We expect more users to get this update in other regions pretty soon. Apart from the Oppo Find X2 Lite, the company has also been testing Android 11 on a bunch of phones. It also released the update with its ColorOS 11.1 skin to a few eligible models such as the Reno4 series, Reno10x Zoom, and others. Apart from the Android 11 goodies, Oppo ColorOS 11.1 also adds its own set of improvements such as new theming options and privacy controls.
