Verizon US Galaxy Watch 3 finally gets the awaited update!
According to a new report, it looks like Verizon has finally started seeding the update to its version of Galaxy Watch 3. The new update carries the firmware version R840XXU1BUA8 that weighs around 74.02MB in size. Considering the size, you can download it over the mobile network as well. As mentioned earlier, the update brings a bunch of improvements to the table.
The changelog mentions the updated Samsung Health app that now allows you to enjoy group walking challenges with friends. In addition, the changelog mentions reduced auto workout recognition time for activities such as running, rowing machine, and elliptical. Samsung has also updated the SmartThings Find now allowing you to find the location of the watch on the map. This new addition could be useful in dire situations. We’re also looking at an improved Hand Wash app that automatically detects whenever you wash your hands. The app can also automatically keep the track of the time. Lastly, the changelog also mentions some system improvements and reliability.
If you own Verizon’s version of the wearable and reside in the US, then you might have already received the update notification. Alternatively, you can manually check for it by heading over to Watch Software Update inside the Galaxy Wearable app. There is a chance that the carrier might be rolling it out in the batches meaning you might not get it right away. Hopefully, that should not be the case.
