A couple of days ago, Samsung started pushing the latest April 2021 security patch to some of its devices. The latest patch update made its way to Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Fold 2, and Galaxy A51. Now, the latest update is making its way to three more devices namely Galaxy A52, and Galaxy S10 series along with Galaxy Tab S6. Here’s everything you need to know about it.
Galaxy A52, S10 series, Tab S6 gets the latest security update!
Samsung is now pushing a new update to Galaxy A52 with the firmware version A525FXXU1AUC5. It is worth noting that the update is only making its way to the 4G variant of the smartphone. The update is rolling out in several countries namely Austria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, France, Italy, Portugal, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, and Slovenia. We’re expecting the 5G version to receive the same treatment in the coming days.
Apart from the Galaxy A52 smartphone, the chaebol is also rolling a new update to the Galaxy Tab S6. The tablet is receiving a new update with the firmware version T865XXU4CUC1. The update only brings the latest Android security patch update. It is only available in Germany but should make its way to more countries.

Lastly, we’re looking at the older flagship dubbed the Galaxy S10 series. All three devices are now receiving the latest patch in Switzerland and the Netherlands. The software update carries the firmware version G97xxXXU9FUCD. Apart from bringing the latest security patch, we’re also looking at non-critical bug fixes and stability improvements. Recently, Samsung also rolled out the new patch update to the Galaxy S20 FE.

If you own any of the above-mentioned smartphones and meet the locality requirements, then you might have already received the update notification. Alternatively, you can go ahead and check for it manually by heading over to Settings>>Software Update>>Download and Install. Since we’re looking at a patch update, the update should be of smaller size meaning you can download it via mobile data.
Considering Samsung’s aggressive push of the latest security patch, we’re expecting more Galaxy devices to join the suit. On a different note, Samsung has also brought its TV Plus free streaming service to the Indian market.
