MIUI12.5.1.0 OTA Update Is Available For Xiaomi Mi 11, Mi 1 Ultra And Mi 9 SE

The latest version of Xiaomi’s UI is the MIUI12.5.1.0. But it is not available for many devices yet. Today, Zhang Guoquan, director of the system software department of Xiaomi, revealed that the internal beta stable version of the MIUI 12.5.1.0 is already being pushed to the Xiaomi Mi 11 over the air.

Moreover, at the moment, we can confirm that three models are currently getting the new update that not only changes the system version but also fixes a lot of bugs and brings performance improvements.

The three Xiaomi models that are getting the MIUI12.5.1.0 update are as follows:

  • Xiaomi Mi 11 – V12.5.1.0.RKBCNXM
  • Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra – V12.5.1.0.RJJCNXM
  • Xiaomi Mi 9 SE –  V12.5.1.0.RFBCNXM

According to the official timetable previously announced, the MIUI 12.5 stable version is scheduled to be released at the end of April. The models include the Mi 11, the Mi 10 Ultra, the Mi 10 Pro and the Mi 10.

Xiaomi claims that the MIUI 12.5 brings major changes to the system performance. The system dynamics, sound effects and tactile design have been greatly upgraded. Also, this update adds a smart clipboard privacy protection, a file sandbox mechanism, a web browsing privacy protection, and a location information privacy.

Those who have already installed this update, prove that the phone really began operating more smoothly. It’s reported that system memory usage has dropped by an average of 35%, power consumption by 25%, and super wallpaper power consumption by up to 40%.
