Samsung Galaxy S20 FE began to receive a fix for the touch screen issue

Galaxy S20 FE

Samsung has begun rolling out an update numbered G781BXXU2CUD1 for the Galaxy S20 FE. In addition to the April security patch, the update includes one important point – increasing the stability of the touchscreen. Alas, this is not the first time that the company has tried to solve the problem of the smartphone’ screen and we hope that this time everything will work out.

Problems with the touch sensor have accompanied the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE since its release. The first attempt to fix it was made back in November last year, and then the company released several more updates in an effort to improve the operation of the touch sensor. With the arrival of One UI 3.1 in February of this year, users began to talk about the fact that the touchscreen finally started working correctly, but a little later the update was stopped due to malfunctions. The resumption of the distribution of the update showed that on a number of devices the problem with the sensor has not been fixed.

But it is worth noting that the G781BXXU2CUD1 update is only relevant for the Galaxy S20 FE based on Snapdragon 865. As for the Exynos 990 version, which is available in most markets, a similar update for it should come out later.
