The Taiwanese giant of the PC segment, Acer, is bringing a new gaming laptop for the Indian market. The Acer Predator Helios 300 gaming laptop arrives as the company’s next big offering for the competitive market in the INR 1,19,999 price segment. The new laptop brings compelling specifications and is being sold through Acer’s offline and online stores as well as on Flipkart. Interestingly, the Predator Helios 300 standards as one of the cheapest VR-ready machines you can purchase in India. The device has been reaching global markets during the past few months and is one of the best laptops available featuring Intel’s new 11th-gen processor inside.

As mentioned above, the new laptop comes with an 11th generation Intel chipset, in this case, the i7. One of the biggest pluses of this laptop is that it comes with NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 30 series graphics cards. The laptops also come with up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM and have gorgeous IPS displays with up to 240Hz of refresh rate. The display also delivers a 3ms response time and offers 3D simulated surround sounds thanks to DTX-X Ultra audio tuning. The Taiwanese firm also equipped the laptop with its 4th Gen AeroBlade 3D fans to keep thermals under control.
The laptop weighs 2.3KG and has 22.9mm of thickness. Since it comes with RTX 30 series graphics cards it is more than ready for the Ray Tracing Technology. As far as connectivity and interface are concerned, the laptop comes with an HDMI 2.0 port, a miniDP port, and support for the USB 3.2 standard. Moreover, it comes with a 40zone RGB customized keyboard with Acer’s Predator typeface and the see-through concave keycaps for the WASD keys. The keyboard also comes with two Turbo and PredatorSense keys. These are shortcuts for certain Acer-exclusive features.
Acer states that the laptops will be available on various channels. However, the availability will be small right now. After all, there is a recent rise in Covid-19 cases across India. Due to recent lockdown policies, the company will face supply issues.
