Asus is constantly pushing new laptops to keep their relevance among the competition. The Indian market may be one of the toughest for smartphone makers, and we can say that it also is for computer-related products. Now, the Taiwanese giant of computing has made a new laptop for the enterprise segment, the Asus ExpertBook B9. It features the latest 11th-gen Intel Core processors which are anything but new for Indian customers this year. There is a multitude of laptops coming with these laptops recently.
The Asus ExpertBook B9 was firstly announced at CES 2021 back in January. The notebook is quite similar to Asus premium ZenBook offerings, but this time around, it clearly focuses on the business segment. It features a sleek look and at the same time, comes with MIL-STD 810H US military standard tests for improved ruggedness. Moreover, the laptop has just 14.9mm thickness and weighs just 1.005Kg which is amazing for a rugged laptop.

The laptop comes with a 14-inch IPS LCD with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1,080 pixels). The display offers 400-nits peak brightness and covers 100% of the sRGB gamut. In terms of performance, users can choose between two variants based on the 11th-gen of Intel Tiger Lake CPUs. There is a mid-tier variant coming with Intel Core i5-1135G7 CPU. However, hardware enthusiasts will certainly prefer the high-tier variant. After all, it comes with the Intel Core i7-1165G7. Unfortunately, there isn’t an option with a dedicated GPU, instead, users will get the integrated Intel Xe GPU. The laptop is available in options with 8GB and 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM with 4,266MHz speed frequency. The laptop also packs space for two Dual NBMEe M.2 SSDs with up to 2GB capacity.
In terms of connectivity, the laptop comes with 2x UBS Type-C ports with Thunderbolt 4 support and 1 x USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A. It also comes with a single HDMI port, 3.5mm audio jack, RJ-45 LAN via the micro-HDMI port, and a Kensington lock slot. The laptop comes with Wi-FI 6 802.11AX and Bluetooth 5.0 support. As far as software is concerned, you can pick either Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Pro.
Other features include a Backlit keyboard, Windows Hello Face recognition, Webcam shutter, Fingerprint scanner, Trusted Platform Module TPM 2.0 embedded security chip, and a Quad 360-degrees far-field microphones. The laptop also boasts ASUS NumberPad 2.0 where the touchpad doubles up as a numeric pad.
Pricing and Availability
The new Asus ExpertBook B9 will be available at ASUS Exclusive Stores. Other channel partners will also offer the new laptop in distinct variants. The price will start at INR 1,15,489 ($1,540).
