According to feedback from users, the HarmonyOS 2.0 developer public beta is now available. The most notable addition to this system is that it comes with three new HarmonyOS applications. The new applications include Youku, Sina News, and CCTV. In addition, the update also solves the problem of inaccurate display of exercise and health steps. It also optimizes the smart assistant user experience.
According to users, the HarmonyOS version of Youku can transform the smartphone to remote control. It can control a tablet to play videos and also turn a tablet into a TV. Furthermore, it can also control the panoramic video viewing angle and camera position. According to Huawei, this is not the full-range capability of this feature. After the development is complete, it will have much more features. For now, users can display background information, such as maps, ancient cultural heritage, or background settings while playing a TV series.
Furthermore, the HarmonyOS 2.0 version of the App is smaller than the Android version. As of now, there is no reason for the reduction in size. For instance, the HarmonyOS CCTV app is only 1.35MB in size while the Android version is 27.9MB.
