Samsung is well known for its Galaxy Tab series of tablets. The company unveiled a duo of flagship tablets last year in the form of Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+. Now, the rumors are suggesting the arrival of a new Galaxy Tab S7 Lite which is also rumored to be called Galaxy Tab S7+ Lite. As this is yet to be confirmed, let’s just call it Galaxy Tab S7 Lite. The new model is expected to come in three distinct variants – Wi-Fi only (SM-T730), a 4G variant (SM-T735), and a 5G option (SM-T736B / SM-T736N). The Wi-Fi and LTE models have acquired 3C certifications, revealing 44W charging support in the process.
According to the 3C certification, the tablet will not ship with a 44W charger. Apparently, Samsung will not be so generous with its Lite variant. If you want to get the maximum charge output, you’ll need to acquire a compatible charger. Thankfully, the tablet will come with a 15W adapter, so you will not be getting an empty box like on nowadays flagships. For now, it’s unclear whether the 5G model will also ship with this 15W adapter or will be bundled with a faster adapter.

We don’t know much about the Galaxy Tab S7 Lite, at least not officially. A couple of weeks ago, a set of leaked renders revealed the tablet on its 5G flavor. It will come with a dual-camera setup on the back. This isn’t common for tablets that usually get a single camera. Apparently, Samsung wants its users to do more with the Tab S7 Lite. However, don’t hold your breath just yet as the secondary camera is likely for depth sensing.
The Galaxy Tab S7 Lite 5G will carry a Snapdragon 750G
The renders also revealed a selfie camera on the right bezel, a USB-C port at the bottom joined by a speaker grille. The 5G variant has appeared on the GeekBench platform with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC. It also has 4GB of RAM and we assume it comes with at least 64GB of internal storage. As usual, we expect microSD card support as well as other RAM / Storage options. We believe that the 5G variant will come as the flagship of the family. For that reason, we expect less powerful chips on the other variants.
