MIUI 13 will NOT be released on June 25th – The list of compatible models is FAKE

MIUI 13

As of now, the latest system update for Xiaomi smartphones is the MIUI 12.5 update. However, Xiaomi users are already looking forward to the MIUI 13 update. A few days ago, there were reports regarding the release date for the MIUI 13 system. According to the report, the MIUI 13 system will arrive officially on June 25th. The report also claims that this system will be available for models such as the Mi 9 series, Mi 10 series, Mi MIX FOLD, and other models. However, official information from Xiaomi debunks this information.

According to Wang Hua, the Public Relations Department of Xiaomi Group, the MIUI 13 update will not launch on June 25th. He said that he wouldn’t blame anyone that believed the report because the editors were quite convincing. They had teasers that appeared official with so much technicality. However, the truth is that there is no official launch date for MIUI 13 for now.

As of now, the company is pushing out the MIUI 12.5 system to older models. MIUI 13 is unlikely to be released in the near future. For the MIUI 12.5, the first batch of compatible models is Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11, Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition (Ultra), Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10, Mi 9 SE, and so on. In the future, this system will be available for the Xiaomi CC series, Redmi X series (Redmi 10X, Redmi 10X Pro, etc.), Redmi K series and other old models. Users can get the stable version by going to Settings > My Device > About This Device.
