The ColorOS 11 system was officially released in September last year and it comes with a couple of new features. Today, OPPO officially announced the ColorOS 11 May upgrade and adaptation plan.
Limited upgrade public beta recruitment plan

According to reports, the timing is not for the release of the update. Rather, the date is when the beta recruitment will commence for the specific model.
According to OPPO, this version may have stability problems, but it can meet users daily needs. The company also recommends that you save all important personal data before upgrading. If you want to experience a more stable version, please wait for the official OTA update.

The official version upgrade method:
Click “Settings – Software Update – Settings icon in the upper right corner – Upgrade early adopters – Formal version application – Tick “I have read and agree to the “Privacy Policy” – Apply now”. After completing the application, click Check Update, check and download the installed version.
As of now, there is no information on the rollout date of the stable version of this update. Hiwever, it is safe to assume that the stable version will arrive a few weeks after the public beta testing commences. Furthermore, OPPO officially confirmed that the stable version will rollout OTA.
