What Is Apple AirTag?
The Apple AirTag is a part of the company’s Find My ecosystem. In many senses, it is identical to the Galaxy SmartTag. Both help users track the object that it is attached to. The single AirTag costs $29, while the four-pack sells for $99.
The size and shape of the Apple AirTag allows us to use it for tracking various objects such as handbags, keys, backpacks, and more. Once the item is lost, the AirTag can help us locate them using the global Find My network. Of course, the company claims the location data will be kept private and anonymous with end-to-end encryption. It is made up of stainless steel and has an IP67 rating meaning it is dust and water-resistant.
Inside, the Apple AirTag carries a speaker that will play a sound to help you located the connected object. Once you set the AirTag up successfully, it will appear inside the Find My app under the items tab. It also supports Siri.
