While an organized email does offer some potential benefits, the road to reach there isn’t that easy. Well, Unroll.me is an iOS application that aims to do the exact same thing. The app allows you to declutter your inbox in a much easier and simpler way.

Developed by Adam Stern, FlyScreen is one of the most useful iOS app available on the Apple App Store. The app is a powerful screenshot manager that brings a plethora of features to the table. For instance, you can copy texts and links from the screenshot itself which comes in handy a lot of times. Furthermore, you can also search for text in your screenshots. This particular feature comes in handy when you have a lot of screenshots and are trying to find the one that you really need.

Since it’s a screenshot manager, it also comes with the support of tags. Basically, you can add tags to various screenshots making it easier for you to organize. You can create various tags such as receipts, shopping, memes, articles, and more. Lastly, when you’ll open a screenshot. you’ll be able to find similar screenshots. All in all, FlyScreen is a solid screenshot manager that you might find useful, especially if you have a plethora of screenshots on your device.

The app can automatically read all the screenshots on its own so you don’t have to add manually. You can also delete duplicates quite easily at a single tap. Thanks to pre-indexing, the search feature works pretty impressively. At the time of writing this, the app has a rating of 9.5 with around 21 users participating in the same.

Refind is more of an educational app for iOS devices that brings curated links every day depending on the selected topics. The app will showcase five relevant links every single day and that’s it. Instead of bloating your screen with countless links, Refind only shows the relevant few. This way you actually end up going through it instead of delaying it. That’s the core idea behind the app.

To make things even better, the app delivers key takeaways highlighted so if you’re short on time, you can go through these. There’s a weekend catch-up if you end up missing a few of these links. There’s an audio mode that will read you the content if you’re into podcasts. According to the devs, the app makes use of more than 6000 sources to churn out quality content on your screen.

The app also has a wide range of topics that you can follow. From climate change to leadership, from AI to parenting, Refind has got you covered. Apart from this, there are a bunch of other small yet nifty features inside. The app has a rating of 4.8 out of 5 in which around 102 users have participated.

Gizchina News of the week

Apple introduced widgets to the iOS ecosystem with the new version of the software. While it was long due, the arrival has brought some impressive take on the feature. One such is Magnets. You might have used magnets or sticky notes on your fridge to inform your family, friend, or roommate of something. Well, Magnets brings the same to your smartphone.

Basically, we’re looking at collaborating shared widgets that users can add to their home screen. You can share these widgets with your friends, family, roommates, and more. All of the shared contacts will be able to make changes to it from their own device. When someone will update the shared widgets, the same will appear on the devices of all the contacts.

You can also add different colors to each magnet to do the same. The app currently has a rating of 4.5 out of 5 with around 67 users participating in it.

#5 JQBX – Discover Music Together

Next up in our best free iOS apps and games, we have JQBX. It is a unique streaming client that is built on top of Spotify’s API allowing users to create room or party. This allows you to stream music with friends or strangers from all over the world in real-time. For this to work, you will need a Spotify Premium account which I am guessing most of our readers might already have. Right in the app, you can create a room or join the one that already exists. This means that you can either make your room public or private.

Using the app is also quite easy. To share a song, you have to simply select ‘be a DJ’, and then you’ll be added to the list of the DJs in the room. You can add your song to the queue which will play for everyone in the room. Those who’ll like the song can vote or star your track. There’s a chat option that you can use to talk more about the music or anything. The app also helps you and your party to discover new music. For instance, you can export the entire track history to a playlist from any room.

Any music that you’ll save or add to the queue or export will instantly add to your Spotify profile. If you’re into discovering new music and are looking to find people who share the same taste, then JQBX is a perfect place for you to be at.

#6 Dead Rain 2: Tree Virus

Dead Rain 2: Tree Virus is a very fun and addictive game that brings forward a unique storyline. Well, it looks like a tree-virus outbreak has spread across the lands. In this outbreak, the tree grows out of human bodies. Well, your goal is to survive through this hell. There are a lot of stages that you can complete so you’re in for a good treat. To keep things even interesting, there are a bunch of boss battles that you would have to win.

There are few hidden elements in each stage which you need to figure out. From graphics to the soundtrack, Dead Rain 2: Tree Virus has managed to nail every aspect quite perfectly. You need to target and attack zombie’s weak points in order to keep surviving hell. If you’re into survival games, then this title is worth checking out.

#7 Drag’n’Boom

As fun as the title sounds, the game itself managed to live up to the same expectation. In this title, you play as a rebellious teenage dragon. You’re on a streak of burning everything that comes in your path. The game brings a unique gameplay experience to the table where you roast the neighboring lords and steal their gold. You’re stealing the gold to amass the greatest treasure ever held by any dragon.

The controls are quite intuitive as well with Jump, Fly, and Charge available on the left. The right, on the other hand, consists of Pillage, Burn, and Ransack. The more gold you’ll hoard, you’ll unlock more new powers. You can also perform series of combo attacks to earn more points. All in all, Drag’n’Boom is a solid game that is available on iOS devices. I really like the slow-mo effect which allows you to shoot the target with extreme precision.

With that out of the way, we’ll be concluding our weekly best free iOS apps and games. If you’re looking to receive more weekly doses of exciting and new apps and games, then you might want to stay tuned.
