Realme X7 Max 5G to launch on May 31 in India along with Realme Smart TV 4K

Last month, we started hearing about a new device dubbed Realme X7 Max 5G. The smartphone was supposed to launch on May 4 but the launch got delayed due to the growing cases related to COVID-19 in the country. Well, it looks like the company is now all set to reveal the smartphone in the Indian market. To top things off, Realme will also bring a new television dubbed Realme Smart TV 4K.

Realme X7 Max 5G official launch in India set for May 31

Realme CEO, Madhav Sheth, has just revealed the launch timeline for the Realme X7 Max 5G smartphone. According to the teaser, the smartphone will launch on May 31st at 12:30 PM IST. Realme should hold a digital launch event and might also end up streaming it over various social media platforms. While the teaser only talks about the smartphone, we should also expect to see Realme Smart TV 4K.

For those who’re unaware, Realme X7 Max 5G will arrive with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset. The addition of this chipset makes it the country’s first smartphone with it. The smart TV, on the other hand, should arrive in two size options – 50-inch and 43-inch.  Various reports also point towards the fact that X7 Max is nothing but a rebranded version of GT Neo.

Realme X7 Max 5G smartphone will feature a Super AMOLED display with a punch-hole camera cutout. We’re looking at an FHD+ resolution and up to 1000nits peak brightness. For those who’re looking for smooth responses and a fluid experience, the device is not going to disappoint you as it will feature a 120Hz refresh rate. On the rear, we’re looking at a rectangular camera module housing three camera sensors. We’re looking at the 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro lens.

There’s still no clear information surrounding the memory, storage, selfie shooter, and battery. But considering it would be a rebranded Realme GT Neo, we can see what the device will pack under the hood.

Realme Smart TV 4K to tag alongside!

Apart from X7 Max 5G, the Chinese smartphone maker will also bring a new range of smart television to the market. It will arrive in two sizes namely 50-inch and 43-inch display. It will come with the support of Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Furthermore, we’re looking at slim bezels, premium design, and more.
