Samsung is already running to quickly fill the market with its 2021 contenders under the Galaxy A and M series. The company made important steps in the mid-range department with the arrival of many mid-range devices sporting 5G connectivity. Apart from the smartphones with support for the fifth-gen networks, the company is also bringing the usual 4G LTE handsets for those who don’t have access or don’t need 5G just yet. The last year’s Galaxy M31 is due for an upgrade and the Galaxy M32 is about to reach the Indian market. Today, the device got its support page live on the Indian website.
Unfortunately, the support page does not reveal many details about the handset. However, it does hint at an imminent launch of the new mid-range contender. As aforementioned the device will be a sequel for the Galaxy M31 and M31s. For that reason, we expect it to honor this particular lineup with a big battery and decent chipset. Worth noting that the smartphone already visited multiple certification websites before the latest listing. So we already have an idea of what we can expect from it.
Gizchina News of the week
Galaxy M32 – Helio G80, 6,000mAh battery, and Android 11 in tow
The Galaxy M32 was already spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website. It further confirms the device’s arrival in the Indian market. Moreover, a Geekbench listing has revealed some of the key specifications of the smartphone. It also reveals that the smartphone will draw powers from a MediaTe Helio G80 SoC. Under the hood, it comes with 6GB of RAM and we presume it is paired with 128GB of Internal Storage. We can’t discard a variant with 4GB and 64GB but this is yet to be confirmed. Of course, the device comes with a microSD card slot for further memory expansion. On the software front, the handset will come with Android 11-based One UI 3.1.
Interestingly, the Galaxy M32 also passed on the DEKRA certification website. It revealed that the phone will pack a 6,000mAh battery under the hood. Details of the fast charging support were not revealed, unfortunately. However, we can easily expect something close to 15W as Samsung isn’t leading the segment of fast charging technologies.
For now, the launch is yet to be confirmed by the company. However, we do know that Samsung is rumored to bring a bunch of new smartphones in June. We expect more details to appear in the coming weeks. The company is also preparing a Galaxy M22 smartphone which curiously has the very same Helio G80 SoC.
