Realme has been building hype for the Realme X7 Max since the last month. In fact, the device was originally expected for the first week of May, but it was postponed due to the COVID-19 hike in the country. Now, the company is ready to finally unveil its new contender in the next week, on May 31st. The device will come as Realme X7 Max, but as per leaks, it’s a rebranded Realme GT Neo. Today, new details have emerged ahead of the launch. Apparently, Realme has partnered with Flipkart to make the e-commerce platform the exclusive channel where buyers will purchase the new premium mid-range smartphone.
Realme X7 Max specifications
Since the Realme X7 Max is coming as a rebranded Realme GT Neo, we already know most of its specifications. The handset will pack a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC which has a flagship pedigree. This chip has a Cortex-A78 core clocked at up to 3.0GHz, three ARM Cortex-A78 cores clocked at up to 2.6GHz, and four ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at up to 2.4GHz. This a 6nm chipset that provides power efficiency one level ahead of the 7nm+ chips. The horsepower is completed with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of Internal Storage. These are the maximum options you can pick for the GT Neo, the variants may vary on X7 Max’s case.

The Realme X7 Max will flaunt a 6.43-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This is an AMOLED panel with a full DCI-P3 color gamut and up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness. In case you’re wondering, this is a punch-hole display with a top-left-aligned 16MP selfie snapper. The fingerprint is hidden below the display. Moving around to the back, we have a triple-camera setup. It comprises a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle unit, and a 2MP macro shooter.

The reports suggest that the Realme X7 Max 5G will go below the INR 30,000 price tag (<$412) which makes it really appealing smartphone.
