The market of truly wireless earphones is finally catching customers. Since the last year, we saw an increase in the sales of products of this kind. We can say that it has a lot to do with the fact that many companies are now entering the segment and launching affordable products. Apple as the company that started this concept is slowly losing ground for its competitors, and this year it may lose even more. Apparently, the company will not unveil the new Apple AirPods 3 this year. We have been waiting for an updated design since 2019, and reports were suggesting the arrival of new models in the end of the year, but Bloomberg states in a new report that the new hearables won’t come before 2022.

The Apple AirPods 3 which now are probably coming just next year will come with shorter stems and a new charging case. The new models may also get support for the Spatial Audio feature. When it comes to the AirPods Pro 2, the new models will have no steams.

We assume that the next-gen AirPods Pro will need some appealing features to make users think that they really deserve the “Pro” on the name.
For now, there aren’t plans for upgrading the AirPods Max. The company unveiled its “studio-like” headphones last year. They have a lot of advanced features, Apparently, there is still no need for an upgrade. However, the company may unveil new colorways which are very characteristic of Apple.
Putting the headphones aside, the report states that Apple is developing a new HomePod. The new AIoT product will have a screen and camera for Facetime. The device is similar to Amazon’s Echo Show devices. The HomePod will allegedly include some Apple TV features, which may give it an edge over the Amazon design.
