Spring is coming to an end; and rumors about the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 series tablets do not even think to end. There was a question about when to wait for the presentation of the new devices. As it turned out, the fans of the company will have to be patient, they should not count on a very early release.
It was reported that the company will hold the presentation of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 in August this year. It’s no secret that we will see the tablet in three versions; which will differ from each other, first of all, in hardware platforms. So, the bigger model of the series will receive a Snapdragon 870 chip, a Snapdragon 860 SoC. And the model with Snapdragon 768G on board will complete the series of tablets. Most likely, all tablets of the family will be split into versions with and without cellular support.
In terms of design, Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 will be similar to the iPad Pro, it will receive a screen with rather thin frames for a tablet and a fingerprint scanner on the side. The diagonal of the display will be close to 11 inches, the resolution will be 2560×1600 pixels, the refresh rate will be “twisted” up to 120 Hz and touch processing – 240 Hz.
It is said that a dual-cell battery with a total capacity of 8720 mAh will be installed inside the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5. The main camera will receive two image sensors of 20 megapixels and 13 megapixels. Among the chips are the support of the stylus and the technology of the active pen In-Cell.
