Xiaomi announced its Redmi Note 10 series smartphones in China earlier this week. For those unaware, the Redmi Note 10 series in China brings the Redmi Note 10 5G, and Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G. The Note 10 5G is available across global markets as Redmi Note 10T, Redmi Note 10 5G, as well as POCO M3 Pro 5G. Now, a new report from Kacper Skrzypek, suggests that Xiaomi will rebrand the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G and bring it to India as POCO X3 GT. The tipster has a good track record when it comes to Xiaomi news.
Kacper took it to Twitter to share a screenshot. The image seems to be taken from Xiaomi’s official support page and reveals the existence of the POCO X3 GT. In a previous tweet, Kacper had speculated that the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G will launch under the POCO branding. Connecting these two facts, it looks like the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G will reach India as a POCO X3 GT. This will be the third smartphone on the POCO X3 series that already has a standard POCO X3, and a POCO X3 Pro. The most interesting fact is it will also be the first 5G-enabled POCO X3 smartphone. The company is already preparing terrain to launch the POCO F3 GT in India in the next quarter. The device will be a rebranded Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition with the Dimensity 1200 SoC.
