iQOO is gearing up to introduce its iQOO Z-series in India. We’ve been hearing rumors about the launch of new iQOO Z smartphones in India since the beginning of this month. Most recently, iQOO itself started to tease the debut of the iQOO Z series in the sub-continent. The very first rumors were suggesting the launch of the iQOO Z3 5G and this seems to be a fact right now. The device was recently launched in China with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G and has now appeared on Amazon.in revealing some additional tidbits. The device will come with 8GB of RAM and will join the list of 5G smartphones in the country.

The new premium mid-range smartphone appeared on the website with the Snapdragon 768G chipset, 8GB of RAM. Worth noting that this device has an Android 11-based FuntouchOS 11 which includes Vivo’s virtual RAM feature. We assume that in the next couple of days, iQOO will share more teasers revealing the features of the upcoming iQOO Z3 5G.

iQOO Z3 5G Specifications and main Features

The iQOO Z3 5G was revealed in China, so everything is known about the upcoming smartphone in terms of specifications. The handset flaunts a 6.58-inch LCD with a Full HD+ resolution with 2,408 x 1,080 pixels of resolution. This panel has a punch-hole cutout with a 16MP selfie snapper. This panel also has a 120Hz refresh rate.

In terms of performance, the handset comes with the Snapdragon 768G which can be considered a slightly overclocked Snapdragon 765G. The Indian variant will come with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. As we mentioned above, the iQOO Z3 runs Android 11 with OriginOS. However, Vivo is not bringing this branch to International markets. We assume that it will have a FuntouchOS in India which shares some features but has different visuals.

In terms of optics, the iQOO Z3 features a triple-camera setup with an LED flash. The primary sensor on the device is a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW3 sensor, that gets accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens.

The iQOO Z3 5G draws power from a rather large 4,400mAh battery complete with 55W fast wired charging. Other notable features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a Type-C charging port. The iQOO Z3 will hit the market towards the mid of June around INR 25,000 in India ($345).
