Back in March, Xiaomi disclosed to the world its Redmi Note 10 series with many smartphones for various pricing categories. The company unveiled smartphones across Global markets and India. However, it has left China for a late release. In the last month, the company finally brought the Redmi Note 10 series, but the devices were different from those launched globally. The global variants have only one variant with 5G whereas the Chinese lineup is full 5G. For its domestic market, the company unveiled the Redmi Note 10 5G, and Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G. The latter will reach global markets as POCO X3 GT.
Apparently, Xiaomi is doing again its usual rebranding strategy with POCO. The brand will unveil the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G with a POCO X3 GT moniker. Curiously, Xiaomi and Realme will be competing to see which brand has more GT smartphones. The POCO X3 GT will reach markets such as India, Indonesia, Turkey, and Europe. According to the tipster, Kacper Skrzypek, the POCO X3 GT really is a Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G in disguise.

Gizchina News of the week
In a recent Tweet, Kacper has found evidence that the POCO X3 GT is a Rebranded Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G within the MIUI code. The device will be the third Redmi device with a MediaTek Dimensity chip to launch under POCO branding. POCO already revealed the POCO M3 Pro 5G which is a rebranded Redmi Note 10 5G and has Dimensity 1100, will reveal the POCO X3 GT with Dimensity 1200 and a POCO F3 GT with the Dimensity 1200 SoC. The latter will also be a rebranding based on the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition.
POCO X3 GT alleged specifications
The POCO X3 GT will pack a 6.6-inch Full HD+ Display with 2,400 x 1,080 pixels, with 450 nits brightness, and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it boasts the excellent MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC. Besides its 5G capabilities, the chipset is a powerhouse with four ARM Cortex-A78 cores clocked at up to 2.6GHz and four ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at up to 2.2GHz. The chip also has a powerful Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. The smartphone comes paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAm, up to 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage, and runs Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 on top.
Moving to optics, the smartphone offers a 64MP camera, an 8MP ultrawide module, and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, it has a 16MP punch-hole camera. The device draws power from a 5,000mAh battery complete with 67W fast charging. It also has a USB Type-C charging port, an IR Blaster, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a stereo speaker setup.
The question that remains is when will the new smartphone be released? Well, just recently, POCO India revealed the POCO F3 GT arrival for the third quarter, which is anytime between July 1st and September 30th. The POCO X3 GT, however, may be released before this launch window, as Q3 2021 certainly would hit the possible POCO X4 schedule.
