Midea refrigerator with HarmonyOS hits the market for 6,999 yuan ($1094)

World’s first HarmonyOS refrigerator

In other respects, this Midea refrigerator has a special zero-degree space to maintain the taste and nutrition of ready-to-eat meat. This way, the meat remains tender and easy to cut without the time-consuming thawing process. There is a special humidity control space in the box, and the two modes of high and low humidity can be adjusted according to the food. The high humidity level puts fruits and vegetables for long-lasting freshness. However, the low humidity stores dried fruits and tea leaves.

According to the company, this refrigerator has a total volume of 603 liters. The refrigerator compartment volume of 382 liters while the freezer compartment volume is 194 liters. It also has the new Chinese standard level 1 energy efficiency. With its inverter compressors, its energy efficiency is as low as 0.88 kilowatt-hours per day. The noise level is also very low, as low as 38 decibels. 

At present, Huawei Mall has the “HarmonyOS” column. The first batch of “HarmonyOS” products includes 24 products. In addition, there are 9 products with HarmonyOS clearly on the page. The brands include Joyoung, Midea, Fangtai, and Supor. At the press conference on June 2, Wang Chenglu, president of Huawei’s consumer business software department, claims that many popular manufacturers will join the HarmonyOS ecosystem. He listed companies such as China Mobile, Skyworth, 360, and Boss Appliances. At present, HarmonyOS ecological chain has 300+ application and service partners, 1,000+ hardware partners, and 500,000+ developers.
