The Oppo Reno6 series was officially released on May 27 and went on sale for the first time on June 5. According to the Chinese manufacturer, the Reno6 series set a new record after the first sales. In the 3000+ yuan ($469+) price range, compared with the Reno5 series, the sales volume increased by 74%. Furthermore, in the history of the Reno series, at this price range, the sales record exceeds the previous record by 11%.
The Oppo Reno6 comes with the Dimensity 900 chip. However, the Reno6 Pro uses the Dimensity 1200 chip, while the Reno6 Pro+ is equipped with the Snapdragon 870 chip. The rear of this series use a new design which gives it a sparkling effect. The glass back cover is manufactured by BYD Electronics, using a snowflake etching process.
The Oppo Reno6 and Reno6 Pro come with a 64MP main camera. However, the Reno6 Pro+ comes with a 50MP IMX766 main camera, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle, a 13MP telephoto, and a 2MP macro lens. The display of the entire series supports a 90Hz refresh rate.
