Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra speculations
According to reports, the Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra will continue the high-quality screen specifications with 2K resolution. Furthermore, it will upgrade to an adaptive LTPO refresh rate display which can achieve 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate adjustment. Simply put, this means that the refresh rate of the smartphone will automatically adjust between 1 – 120Hz depending on the usage scenario. This will make the smartphone save more battery.
As for the rear, the Xiaomi will most likely make it another mystery. Xiaomi may use a retractable design like a SLR and it will probably use a self-developed retractable lens. The Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra may incorporate IP68 waterproof and dustproof, stereo dual speakers, multi-function NFC and infrared.
The Xiaomi Mi 12 will use the 5nm Snapdragon 895 SoC. This chip will use ARM’s latest Cortex v9 architecture CPU, and the GPU is also upgraded from Adreno 660 to Adreno 730. It is worth noting that the battery capacity of the Mi 12 Ultra is likely to exceed 5000 mAh. Of course, we will have the 120W wired and 70W – 80W wireless charging capacity. It will also use the “three-state” liquid cooling technology to keep the battery safe. However, if a new policy pulls through, Xiaomi may not be able to use above 50W wireless charging.
On the rear, it will have a 20MP + 50MP + 12MP (10x optical zoom) triple camera configuration. On the front, there will be a dual-camera setup, 32MP + 8MP which supports 4K Selfie, thanks to the new generation powerful kernel driver and the excellent algorithm tuning.
