Realme is preparing to release Realme GT 5G globally on June 15. However, the company is also working on another series. According to recent reports, the Chinese manufacturer is also developing the Realme 9 series. The Realme 9 series will be the successor to the Realme 8 series which arrived earlier this year. A scoop recently discovered the Realme 9 series on Realme’s website.
After the exposure of the Realme 9 series, we now have a set of renders of this smartphone. However, we can not vouch for the authenticity of these renders, it could just be someone looking at his crystal balls. However, looking at the design of this device, it could be a good start for a first render. We guess that the Realme 9 series may be unveiled in India later this year and may support 5G.
The Realme 9 comes with a top-left punch-hole camera with narrow bezels. There is a rectangular module on the back of this phone to accommodate four cameras. The main sensor is a 64MP camera which is quite decent. On the side, we can see that there is a fingerprint sensor. The location of the fingerprint sensor is also the power button. On the left side is the volume button which lies next to the SIM card tray. There is a 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port, and speaker grille on the bottom. At the top, there is an auxiliary microphone for noise reduction. Realme 9 has a unique new green colour option.
Gizchina News of the week
In addition to the Realme 9 series, this company is also working on a Realme Pad and Realme Book. From the reports so far, the company will release its first-ever laptop and tablet on June 15th. There are also reports that these devices will first arrive in India. The Realme laptop will have a 3:2 aspect ratio display, aluminum structure, silver option, and a pre-installed Windows 10 operating system. As for the Realme Pad, it may arrive with dual cameras as well as a metal structure. We should know more details when we launch a new product next week.
However, it is not a surprise that Realme is entering the laptop and tablet business. Since the advent of the coronavirus pandemic, there has been a surge in the demand for large display devices. Smartphone manufacturers are beginning to revive their tablet business with new tablets. Whether or not Realme will succeed in the laptop and tablet business remains to be seen.
