Huawei is one of few manufacturers that has been pretty consistent in the tablet market. Before the pandemic, the tablet market was not lucrative and many companies were pulling out. However, at the advent of the pandemic, the demand for large display devices soared. To this end, many manufacturers are now releasing new tablets and laptops. At a press conference earlier this month, Huawei showed renderings of the Huawei MatePad 11 tablet and the P50 series. However, the company did not announce any information regarding these devices.
A few days ago, the Huawei MatePad 11 appeared on its official German Website. From the speculations so far, the Huawei MatePad 11 will come with a 10.95-inch 60/120Hz IPS screen. This display will have a resolution of 2560 x 1600. Under the hood, Huawei will use Qualcomm’s last year’s flagship, Snapdragon 865 processor that only supports WiFi networks. Furthermore, this tablet will have 6GB of RAM and 64GB + 128GB of internal storage. It will support a MicroSD card slot as well as Huawei’s second-generation stylus.

In addition, the Huawei MatePad 11 has a body size of 253.8mm X 165.3mm X 7.2mm, a 7250mAh battery, a charging rate of 22.5W, and a pre-installed HarmonyOS 2.0 system. The first release can be coordinated with the Huawei Mate 30 series, and the rest of the equipment will be adapted in the future.
Huawei MatePad 11 speculated launch date
According to Weibo leaker @菊厂影业Fans, Huawei has internally confirmed the release time of the MatePad 11. Although he has not yet received a specific date, it is definitely in July or August. In addition, there may be unexpected surprises in the pricing of Huawei MatePad 11. Interestingly, the Huawei P50 series may also arrive within this period. This report is the same as the report from @看山的叔叔 which claims that the MatePad 11 will arrive in China before September
According to previous reports, the Huawei P50 series design is similar to the previous leak. It will still use a rear-mounted Leica quad camera. The main camera aperture is f/1.8, focal length 18~125mm, equivalent to 5x optical change. However, the sub-sensor does not look like a regular rectangular periscope lens. Perhaps it’s a new technology.
The Huawei P50 will use a 6.3-inch flat screen and it has a dimension of 156.7 x 74 x 8.3 mm. If we include the rear camera bump, the thickness will increase to 10.6 mm. Thus, the Huawei P50 body is larger than the P40 (148.9 x 71.06 x 8.5 mm).
Huawei P50 series is expected to adopt the new outsole main camera IMX707, or it will reach 1/1.18 inches. In addition to the basic version, there are multiple auxiliary lenses that support fingerprint recognition under the screen, and dual speakers on the top and bottom.
