Users are not satisfied with Apple iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 – survey shows

According to reports, a selcell survey showed that users seem to be not interested in Appleā€™s iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 updates. The survey asked 3,000 iPhone and iPad users aged 18 and above (50% for men and women), about their views on iOS 15 as well as iPadOS 15. The results show that more than 50% of the respondents said that iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 updates are only “minor” or “not at all” exciting. Another 28.1% think these updates are “a little bit” exciting. However, only 19.3% are “very happy” about this update.

In iOS 15 and iPadOS 15, 23% of users said that the most exciting upgrade is the ID card in the wallet app. 17.3% of users are most interested in the enhanced spotlight search while 14.2% of users are interested in the new Find My feature.

The survey also shows that a large number of users do not consider iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 to be major updates. However, these update comes with a couple of interesting features. Apple also upgraded a number of features to better serve users. Furthermore, the iOS 15 / iPadOS 15 will be available for very old smartphones.

Update Timeline

According to Apple, the developer beta for all the operating systems are already available for developers. However, in a months’ time (July), the first public beta will hit the public domain. Furthermore, expect the stable version to arrive this fall.
