Vivo is gearing up to introduce a new V-series smartphone in India. The device will complement the Vivo V21 family and will arrive with Vivo V21e 5G moniker. Since the last week, we have been seeing the news regarding the upcoming device. Now, the colorways have been confirmed ahead of the device’s release.
Vivo is seemingly interested in building the hype for its upcoming smartphone. Now, it has used its official account to confirm that the Vivo V21 5G will arrive in two distinct colorways – Sunset Jazz and Dark Pearl. The first brings the usual gradient formula with a subtle change between blue and violet. The Dark Pearl is just a fancy name for a black variant. The brand also posted a small teaser on Twitter to showcase the new colorways. It also used the opportunity to re-confirm the device’s launch for June 24 at 5 PM IST.

Gizchina News of the week
Vivo V21e 5G specifications
According to previous leaks, the upcoming Vivo V21e 5G will feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. Under the hood, the smartphone will sport MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 SoC. This chip features two ARM Cortex-A76 cores clocked at up to 2.2GHz plus six power-efficient ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0GHz. The processing power will be aided by up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of Internal Storage. We also expect a microSD card slot for further memory expansion. Interestingly, the handset will come with Vivo’s extended RAM feature that will ad 3GB of Virtual RAM. It will take a portion of the internal storage to do so. This feature is available on most of Vivo’s Android 11 devices, so we can basically confirm FuntouchOS 11 on this device.
In terms of optics, the smartphone will feature a dual-camera setup. This is something very unusual in these days of Quad-Camera and Even Penta-Camera setups. Apparently, Vivo is confident that a 64MP primary camera and a secondary 8MP unit are enough for all photography tasks. On the front side, the handset will feature a 32MP selfie snapper. The phone runs with a huge 4,000mAh battery which offers 44W fast-charging support.
Vivo V21e 5G alleged pricing
In terms of pricing, the Vivo V21e 5G is expected to cost around INR 24,990 which can be roughly converted to $337. For now, it’s unclear if Vivo will bring the device in another variant. We expect more details to appear in the coming days, or perhaps just on the June 24th launch.
