Realme GT 5G (Global)

The Realme GT 5G finally reached global markets this month.  The smartphone is Realme’s top offering this year and has a nice set of specifications that fully make it a notable device to take part in this list.

The Realme GT 5G flaunts a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display with 2,400 x 1,080 pixels of resolution ( Full HD+), 20:9 aspect ratio, and 409 ppi density. The GT also offers a high refresh rate of 120Hz and it packs an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Under the hood, we have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 SoC which is based on a modern 6 nm architecture. It brings a cutting-edge Cortex-X1 core in addition to the Cortex-A78 cores. This chipset offers the best performance you can get in the Android market right now. That along with the high-quality display, make the Realme GT 5G one of the best solutions for watching media, playing with Instagram or Tiktok, and even when playing graphics-demanding games.

In terms of optics, the Realme GT 5G packs a 64 MP camera with an f/1.8 aperture with a 0.8um and PDAF. The device also has an ultrawide module with 8 MP resolution and an f/2.3 aperture and a 1.12um pixel size. Finally, the device has a 2 MP macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture. This camera setup isn’t the most advanced in the market but still delivers. The Realme GT 5G is an affordable flagship with a huge appeal for gaming and media consumption, the camera setup is probably the least impressive part, but you will still achieve satisfactory results with it. It’s not common to see smartphones with dual-camera setups in the premium mid-range and mid-range departments nowadays. However, this is a useful camera setup. Vivo could add fancy AI, depth, or macro shooters, but decided to stick with two modules that its users will actually use.

The device has a single loudspeaker and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Other notable features in the Vivo V21e 5G include GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, and QZSS. The device may not be the most impressive in terms of battery capacity. However, the charging tech will make charging times quite small. The big focus in this device is on the powerful camera setup that will make it a great option for social media and capturing selfies. For that reason, it deserves a place among the top 10 smartphones for media consumption.
