The second half of 2021 will not be agitated by the arrival of new Galaxy Note smartphones. Samsung is slowly discontinuing this series due to its growing irrelevancy now that the company has a Galaxy S Ultra smartphone that even supports S Pen. While the Note series will not come this year, we’ll still have two intriguing flagships to look at – the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. During the rumored August edition of the Galaxy Unpacked event, the company will release two new foldable smartphones. We have been hearing rumors and seeing leaks about these two devices for quite some time. Now, ahead of the release, we got a couple of additional Galaxy Z Fold 3 renders by 91Mobiles to look to. The new leak reveals the smartphone design, colorways, and some key specs.
Going by the design, the Galaxy Z Fold3 features an inner display with an under-display camera. The cover display features a punch-hole camera which is located at the center. At the backside, the handset features a triple-camera setup which comes alongside a LED flash. Moving on to the right side, we have what seems to e a fingerprint reader and volume rockers. The left seems to house the SIM card slot. The leak further reveals that the Galaxy Z Fold3 will come in three colorways. The device will come in Green, Black, and Gradient color options. Apparently, there won’t be a Mystic Bronze edition this time. We are curious to see which of the available colorways will be the “hero” edition of this year.

Galaxy Z Fold3 specifications
According to rumors, the Galaxy Z Fold3 will feature a 7.5-inch display on the inner side. The outer display will likely have a 6.2-inch diagonal. Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by the Exynos 2100 SoC. However, some markets should receive the variant with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 or even Snapdragon 888 Plus on board. A notable characteristic of the Fold3 is that, for the first time in the series, S Pen will be supported. Samsung has enhanced its display technology to ensure support for its stylus.
Since the Galaxy Z Fold3 already passed by FCC certification, we know it will offer ultra-wideband (UWB) support, 9W wireless charging, and NFC support. In terms of optics, the device will have two 12 MP cameras and a 16 MP sensor on the back.
As we’re getting close to the launch we expect more details to appear soon. More certification and benchmarks should appear in the coming days.
