The Oppo Reno 6Z is slated to launch on July 21 at 5:30 PM (local time) in Thailand. Oppo launched the Reno 6 series in China in May, comprising the Reno 6, Reno 6 Pro, and the Reno 6 Pro+. Now, the Dongguan-based phone maker is gearing up to expand the series with a new device.
Oppo will be unveiling the Reno 6Z later this month. A microsite for the Reno 6Z has already gone live on the company’s Thailand website. As expected, the micro-site hints at an array of awe-inspiring features, as well as key specifications of the upcoming mobile phone.
Oppo Reno 6Z Key Specifications Revealed
According to the micro-site, the upcoming Oppo Reno 6Z will pack a powerful octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800U mobile processor. This processors powers a myriad of other mid-range smartphones such as the Redmi Note 9T, Redmi X7, Realme Narzo 30 Pro, Vivo V21, and more.
Moreover, the Reno 6 series of smartphones will come with 30W VOOC charging support. In the photography department, the Reno 6Z will house three cameras at the back. The phone will feature a 64MP primary sensor, along with an LED flash.
These vertically arranged sensors will be housed in a rectangular camera module placed on the top left corner of the phone. A recently surfaced poster suggests that the phone will be available in two eye-catching color options, including a Black model.
Last month, tipster Abhishek Yadav tweeted some key details about the Reno 6Z. According to the leaker, the phone will be powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 800u chipset and might support 30W fast charging. This will fuel up the phone quicker than a standard charger.
