Just like Apple, Meizu, OnePlus, and a few other smartphones manufacturers, Google does not release many phones each year. The company has its Pixel digital series which is about the only series it releases each year. Last year’s Google Pixel 5 series arrived sometime in October. This means that the new generation Google Pixel 6 series is only a few months away. According to recent reports, Google will abandon its usual “XL” naming for the high-version. Instead, the company will adopt the popular “Pro” style.
This implies that this year, we will have the Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro. From the available reports so far, the Google Pixel 6 series will have 5 years of Android updates. This is massive considering that most smartphones do not get more than three years. In rear cases, very few smartphones get up to four years of Android update.
In addition, the major specs of the Google Pixel 6 series also appeared online
