Upgraded Chuwi LarkBook brings a touchscreen to the mix

Well known chinese laptop and tablet makers Chuwi released their LarkBook laptop model in December 2020 as a very light portable device. With just 1kg of weight and 11.9mm of thickness it really stands out from the crowd after all. And their recent refresh to the model getting is a nice upgrade with 13.3-inch touchscreen panel. Solid improvement for the already very interesting laptop.

Ultra-thin body and awesome sound

LarkBook adopts a metal lightweight fashion design with ACD surface of the whole body adopting aluminum alloy material. The machine is 1kg light and the thickness is only 11.9mm. At the same time the LarkBook sports 13.3-inch IPS all-around screen design with FHD 1920*1080 pixel resolution. And with the great hinge you can upen it up to 180° freely. The laptop is also proudly showing off its audio performance, with 4 Dolby DTS speakers.

LarkBook is also rock solid with the hardware inside. It is equipped with the Intel Gemini Lake N4120 low-voltage processor, running a core frequency up to 2.4GHz. Compared to the previous generation of N3350 processors, single-core performance is improved by 45% and multi-core performance by full 90%. Integrated Intel UHD 600 GPU also supports 4K hardware decoding directly. With 8 GB LPDDR4 RAM and 256G SSD disk it has morese than enough horsepower for everyday needs. No matter if it’s office work, multimedia purposes or just browsing and learning

The touchscreen upgrade is quite welcome too, because it opens up some extra doors to more creativity. Even with Office documents it can be very convenient to display contents and edit them with the touch screen of the new LarkBook. Compared to the touchpad controls you can be way more faster and precise. 

 

Rest of the specs are on par too, like the 34.8Wh battery with PD fast charging support or the full function USB Type-C interface. There is also an extra SSD expansion slot, so getting more storage should be a breeze.
