ZTE may be busy with the rumored announcement of a ZTE Axon 30 smartphone. This handset is coming to succeed the last year’s Axon 20 – the world’s first commercially available smartphone with an in-display selfie camera. As you may expect, the Axon 30 will pack the company’s second-generation in-display camera technology along with a cutting-edge Visionox display. However, the company still finds time to launch a new cost-effective smartphone for its value-for-money Blade series. The new device will come with the ZTE Blade V30 moniker and had some of its details leaked by tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore. He also provided images showing the two colorways.
ZTE Blade V30 specifications
The ZTE Blade V30 packs a 6.67-inch LCD with a Full HD+ resolution – 2,400 x 1,080 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display comes with a center-aligned punch-hole cutout that serves as a home for the 16 MP selfie snapper. Moving around to the back, the device has a Quad-Camera setup. It comprises a primary 64 MP camera with a 26 mm lens and an 8 MP ultra-wide module with a 16 mm lens. There are two additional sensors with 2 MP resolution. One probably stands for macro shots, whereas the second might sit as a depth-sensing module.
Gizchina News of the week
The ZTE Blade V30 will run Android 11 straight out of the box. Curiously, the device will pack a Unisoc Tiger T618 chipset. It’s not every day we see a smartphone powered by an Unisoc chipset. The Chinese firm seems to be reaching more partners every month. This 4G chipset features two ARM Cortex-A75 cores, six ARM Cortex-A55 ad a Mali-G52 with two cores.
This chip has a 12 nm architecture, so we can say that it offers basically the same experience as a MediaTek Helio G80. So far, only one memory combo is known – 4 GB of RAM with 128 GB of Internal Storage. Of course, there is a micro SD card slot for further memory expansion.
The handset will draw its powers from a 5,000mAh battery with 18 W fast-charging support. It comes with a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. In terms of dimensions, it measures 165.8 x 77.8 x 8.9 mm and weighs 193g.
The new mid-range smartphone will have a gradient blue-purple colorway and a plain black. According to the leak, the device will come costing 200 Euros. For now, there is no word on the exact availability. While ZTE will probably turn the lights to the ZTE Axon 30 we don’t expect this device to launch with much buzz.
