Huawei officially announced today that the launch of Huawei’s flagship new products will be held at 19:30 on July 29 to witness the rebirth of Vientiane. Huawei P50 series and other products will arrive at this press conference. The Huawei P50 series may include Huawei P50, P50 Pro, and P50 Pro+. However, all models will come with HarmonyOS out of the box.
The company recently released a video teaser of the camera of Huawei P50 Pro. The available information suggests that this smartphone will come with a VARIO-SUMMILUX-H1:1.8-3.4/18-125ASPH sensor (ASPH refers to the use of aspherical lenses). This device will also have a 5x telephoto lens as well as an 18mm ultra-wide-angle sensor. The model is UX-H1. The aperture of the sensor is f/1.8-3.4 while the focal length is 18-125mm. However, it is most probable that the basic version will be a bit lower than the Pro model. It will probably use a 13mm ultra-wide-angle and a 3.5x telephoto lens.
There are also reports that the Huawei P50 series gameplay and optimization of the video are excellent. The video aspect of the camera department comes with some new capabilities. The optimization also addresses the discoloration and stuttering as a result of the video lens zoom. The zoom is now smoother and better.

Huawei P50 series to launch this month
Due to supply chain issues, the Huawei P50 series did a lot of changes to the original design. The early version uses a 6.3-inch flat screen and the dimension of the device is about 156.7 x 74 x 8.3 mm. However, due to numerous changes, the final version of the Huawei P50 is smaller than this dimension. In addition, the Huawei P50 series is expected to adopt BOE screens for all systems. The top Pro+ may use its latest diamond-like arrangement with four-curved displays, while the Pro version may be a hyperboloid screen.
The Huawei P series was supposed to be updated in the spring, but the release time has been delayed for reasons everyone knows. At the HarmonyOS conference in early June, Yu Chengdong personally announced the P50 series and a warm-up video. At the time, he did not reveal the launch date for this device. After two years, Huawei’s stock of the Kirin 9000 series appears to be running out. This means that the company may find it difficult to release flagship 5G smartphones. There are reports that the Huawei P50 series may have to rely on the Snapdragon 888 SoC. Of course, it will not be a 5G chip, it supports only 4G but the performance is as good as the 5G version.
