In a week, on July 27, ZTE will unleash the second-gen under-screen camera smartphone dubbed the ZTE Axon 30 5G. As the launch date is getting closer and closer, we are receiving more news concerning this amazing handset. Today is no exception. And today’s news refer to the screen parameters of the new in-screen smartphone.

This morning, ZTE Mobile officially stated that the screen of the ZTE Axon 30 under-screen smartphone is going to be the world’s first screen certified by three major authorities for eye protection. They include TUV Rheinland, Switzerland SGS and the United States UL authoritative eye protection certifications.
It is worth mentioning that the ZTE Axon 30 screen will have a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and support 1.07 billion colors. Moreover, the handset will sport a 6.92-inch full screen with a resolution of 2460*1080, a pixel density of up to 400PPI, and a 120Hz ultra-high refresh rate. Apart from this, in the front lens area, the phone uses 7 layers of high-transmittance materials and 3 layers of special technology to provide stronger light transmission. Thus, the manufacturer has improved not only the software part of the under-screen camera but also the screen materials.

In addition, the ZTE Axon 30 should have a very high screen-to-body ratio. The upper, left, and right sides are almost the same width, and the frame is very narrow. Only the lower frame is slightly wider.

Generally talking, the ZTE Axon 30 screen will hide a front camera of 16MP resolution. On the opposite side, it will sport a dual-ring quad-camera module. The latter will include 64MP, 8MP, 5MP, and 2MP sensors. Among them, the main camera will use the Sony IMX682 CMOS.
As for hardware, our protagonist will feature a Snapdragon 870 flagship processor and is expected to debut with a 20GB of memory. But will it be a true 20GB phone or it will use a memory expansion technology? We’ll learn about this at the event. We doubt because according to the previous news, the phone will come with three memory options – 6/8/12GB RAM and 128/256/512GB native storage. So we guess the 20GB RAM version is the 12GB model that will take 8GB from the native storage when required.
In other aspects, the ZTE Axon 30 will come with a built-in 4200mAh large battery. In its turn, this battery will support a 55W wired fast charging. The body thickness is going to be 7.8mm, while it will weigh 190g.
