A few days ago, Huawei officially announced that the new generation of flagship mobile phones, the Huawei P50 series, will officially meet with us at 7:30 pm on July 29. The official announcement of a date for this device did not stop the ongoing speculations and rumors regarding this device. From what we already know, the Huawei P50 series will have at least three models. We will have the Huawei P50, P50 Pro, and P50 Pro+. Among them, the Huawei P50 Standard Edition uses a 66W fast charge. However, the advance Huawei P50 Pro and P50 Pro+ use Huawei’s self-developed 100W superfast charge. According to the latest report, this new 100W fast charge can deliver 100% in 20 minutes.
In terms of fast-charge technology, 100W is one of the highest in the industry. However, Xiaomi’s 120W superfast charge promises to deliver a full charge in 8 minutes. This will be the first charging power to give a full charge in less than 10 minutes. However, we must note that the time to a full charge is a function of the battery capacity.

Huawei P50 series configuration speculations
In terms of configuration, the Huawei P50 series may use a dual-platform combination, that is, the P50 standard version uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 4G, while the P50 Pro and P50 Pro+ use Kirin 9000 5G processors. There are also reports that by the end of this year, the Huawei P50 Pro will replace the Kirin 9000 5G with the Snapdragon 888 4G. This shows that Huawei is running out of Kirin 9000 stock.
The P50 series may use a punch-hole design with a 6.6-inch OLED screen. This display will have a resolution of 2696 x 1224 and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The rear camera module is placed in the upper left corner of the back of the phone, two circular areas are arranged up and down, and multiple cameras are placed in it. The back style of the phone is similar to that of the Nova8 series phones.
At present, it is almost certain that P50 series mobile phones will be pre-installed with Harmony OS 2.0 system. Nevertheless, it is important to note that this device just like other recent Huawei phones will not come with GMS. Of course, it will not be lucrative outside China but will be pretty cool in China.
