Micromax is gearing to reveal a new smartphone on July 30th. The company has already confirmed that its new smartphone will offer long battery life and smooth performance. According to leaks, the company is gearing up to reveal its Micromax IN 2B smartphone. This particular smartphone comes to succeed the last year’s Micromax IN 1B. This series of smartphones was introduced as Micromax’s attempt to get back its relevance. The company was one of the most important smartphone makers in India but lost its ground for Chinese brands.
The Micromax IN 2B was already spotted on the Geekbench benchmark with a Unisoc T610 chipset. Now, in a recent development, the full specifications of the smartphone have been revealed. The new details come as a courtesy from the tipster Yogesh alongside Pricebaba. Apparently, the Micromax IN 2B is the only smartphone coming on July 30th even. Apparently, the company will unveil the Micromax IN 2C at a later date.

Micromax IN 2B specifications
According to the new leaked details, the Micromax IN 2B will pack a 6.5-inch LCD with an HD+ resolution. Under the hood, the smartphone indeed comes with a Unisoc Tiger T610 chipset. This is an Octa-Core chip with two ARM Cortex-A75 cores and six power-efficient ARM Cortex-A55 cores. The performance will be somewhere close to the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC. It is much better than the Helio G35 found on the Micromax IN 1B which has the archaic ARM Cortex-A53 cores. The processing power will be aided with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of Internal Storage. These hardware specifications match with the one that was revealed by the Geekbench earlier.
In terms of optics, the smartphone packs a dual-camera setup. The rear-facing camera module has a 13 MP primary camera and a 2 MP secondary camera, probably for depth sensing. In terms of selfies and video-calling, the device has an 8 MP snapper. The Micromax IN 2B will draw its powers from a 5,000mAh battery which charges at only a 10 W rate. It runs Android 11 straight out of the box.
Apparently, the device will have a design that is very close to its predecessor. That means a waterdrop notch design will be adopted here. We expect to hear more about pricing and availability details on July 30. As we mentioned before, the company will unveil another smartphone dubbed Micromax IN 2C at a later date. This device was also spotted on Geekbench before sporting a Unisoc chipset.
