Xiaomi is preparing new smartphones with Snapdragon 888 and 778G

At the disposal of Internet sources was information about two new smartphones, which the Chinese company Xiaomi is preparing for release. The devices have the codenames Vili and Lisa.

The Vili device has already been listed on the website of the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC). This model, according to available data, will receive a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, which contains eight processing cores with a frequency of up to 2.84 GHz, an Adreno 660 graphics accelerator and a Snapdragon X60 5G modem with data transfer rates up to 7.5 Gbps. The smartphone will allegedly have a Full HD + AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

The Lisa model, in turn, will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chip. It integrates eight Kryo 670 computing cores clocked at up to 2.4 GHz, an Adreno 642L graphics accelerator and an integrated Snapdragon X53 5G modem. This device has a screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a triple camera with a 64-megapixel Samsung GW3 main sensor, a unit with wide-angle optics and a macromodule.

It is possible that on the commercial market; new items will be included in the Mi MIX 4 and Mi CC11 series. In general, for the current half of the year Xiaomi has outlined the announcement of a large number of smartphones. These devices have the codenames Evergo, Evergreen, Zeus, Cupid, Psyche, Pissaro, Pissaropro, Cygnus, Bestla, Hyacinth, Divine, Lepus and Mercury.

According to some recent reports, The Chinese company Xiaomi plans to bring to the commercial market two advanced technologies for ultra-fast charging of smartphones.

We are talking, in particular, about HyperCharge – a wire system, which provides a power of 200 watts. It allows you to fully charge your 4000 mAh battery in just eight minutes.

In addition, we saw the technology in action in May this year; and recently it became known that the Chinese company NuVolta Technologies has created the NU2205 chip; which allows you to implement 200W charging in commercial devices. Presumably, Xiaomi will adopt this particular product.

Also, network sources claim that the first Xiaomi smartphone with a 200-watt recharge will launch approximately in June next year. It could be one of the representatives of the Xiaomi Mi 12 family; probably the most expensive variant: the Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra.

In addition, Xiaomi smartphones will introduce ultra-fast wireless charging; the power of which will be up to 120 watts. Also, this system will charge the 4000 mAh battery from 0% to 100% in just 15 minutes.
