ZTE Axon 30

ZTE was once banned by the US government after allegedly violating certain sanctions. After months of negotiation, the company returned to the market, and for a company that almost closed its doors its return was remarkable. The company brought the ZTE Axon 10 5G was one of the first 5G smartphones to launch internationally. However, the big surprise was yet to come in 2020. The company unveiled the world’s first commercially available smartphone with an in-display camera. This ground-breaking technology came in the form of the ZTE Axon 20. Gizchina News of the week

The first video shows the smartphone’s front and back design. It gives plenty of attention to the hidden camera module. There is a quick comparison to the ZTE Axon 20 and it’s easy to notice the progress made in terms of display sharpness. This can be noticed especially in the area above the camera which is rumored to include a 16 MP camera setup. Worth noting, that the are remain indistinguishable from the rest of the panel even in close-ups which is truly remarkable. The display comes from Visionox which delivers 400ppi for the area above the camera. That is twice the amount of its predecessor. The video also reveals a couple of selfies samples, however, they aren’t so impressive in terms of sharpness and quality.

Axon 30 will come with Snapdragon 870 SoC and up to 12 GB of RAM

The leaked video also confirms that the smartphone will pack Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC and 256 GB of Internal Storage. It’s amazing to see the presence of a flagship-level SoC in this handset. The display will have 2,460 x 1,080 pixels of resolution which means Full HD+.

The second video clip reveals some of the devices’ camera capabilities. The handset has four shooters on the back with the main one coming in at 64 MP resolution. Details coming in from the main shooter look quite sharp and having the whole screen as an uninterrupted viewfinder is certainly a huge factor that makes this device appealing.

According to leaks, the ZTE Axon 30 will run MyOS 11 on top of Android 11. The device will have at least one variant with 12 GB of RAM. The device is shaping to be a flagship way above the last year’s Axon 20 which was a premium mid-range smartphone.
