Microsoft has released another preview build of Windows 11 under the number 22000.100, which brings with it a number of innovations and fixes that aims to improve the stability of the software platform. It was made available to members of the Microsoft Insider Program on the Dev Channel (Early Access).
First of all, we should note that the developers have begun to implement the Chat application, which is built on the basis of the Teams service and is located in the taskbar. It is currently available to a limited number of Insiders, which will gradually expand as testing progresses.
The developers also updated the appearance of the pop-up menu of hidden icons, which are located in the lower right corner of the taskbar. This makes the menu more consistent with the overall design of the Windows 11 user interface. Note that the design of the menu does not always change after an upgrade. In some cases, you may need to change the skin for the pop-up menu to change its appearance.

Gizchina News of the week
In the new OS firmware, access to the “Focus of Attention” function settings has been simplified. Now you can access them through the “Notification Center”. In addition, when the background activity of an application requires the user’s attention, its icon on the taskbar will flash. The action of this attention-grabbing tool has changed, and the blinking automatically stops after a while; but the icon of the corresponding application will remain highlighted until the user expands it.
The developers have adjusted the icon of the touch keyboard in the taskbar; to better match its size with other elements. The Calendar pop-up menu on the taskbar now completely collapses when you click the corresponding button at the top, which frees up additional space for notifications. Also in the current version of the Microsoft Store for Insiders, navigation has been improved, and animation has been added for easier tracking of the content being viewed.
Along with this, the developers have made a lot of less visible fixes. Fixed a bug due to which there was a crash in the explorer; when you click on the “Date and Time” menu in the taskbar when the “Focus of Attention” function is not active. Fixed an issue that could cause the clock on the taskbar to periodically freeze; and not sync correctly with the network time. Added missing icons for the context menu that appears when you right-click on the network icon in the taskbar.
