For August 11, Samsung has scheduled another Unpacked presentation, which will include the announcement of new smartphones with flexible displays and other gadgets. It was assumed that the Galaxy S21 FE will also be a guest of the event, but now other information has appeared.

LetsGoDigital, referring to Samsung documentation, reports that the debut of the Galaxy S21 FE has been postponed to a later date. According to rumors, the device will enter the market only in the fall – presumably in October.

The delay may be due to a global shortage of electronic components. Moreover, there is information that at first the sales geography of the Galaxy S21 FE will be limited.

According to reports, the equipment of the new Galaxy S21 FE will include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor with an integrated 5G modem. Power will be provided by a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 4500 mAh; with support for recharging with a capacity of 25 W.

The proposed specs include a Full HD + Super AMOLED display with a diagonal of 6.4-6.5 inches and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a front camera with a 32-megapixel sensor and a main camera with three sensors with 12 megapixels. The handset will arrive with Android 11 operating system.

Smartphone Samsung Galaxy S21 FE appears on the regulator’s website

Network sources report that information about the Galaxy S21 FE smartphone has appeared in the database of the China Telecommunications Equipment Certification Authority (TENAA); which  the South Korean giant will anoounce soon.

The Galaxy S21 FE will receive a Full HD + display with a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels. This panel measures 6.4 inches diagonally. The dimensions of the device are 155.7 × 74.5 × 7.9 mm.

A triple camera will be located in the back of the case. Its configuration includes a 32-megapixel main sensor, a 12-megapixel unit with wide-angle optics and an 8-megapixel sensor. The front camera will be able to form 12-megapixel images.

The device will be based on the Snapdragon 888 processor. The chip contains one powerful Cortex-X1 core with a frequency of up to 2.84 GHz; three efficient Cortex-A78 cores and four energy-efficient Cortex-A55 cores. In addition, there is an Adreno 660 graphics accelerator and a Snapdragon X60 5G modem; with data rates up to 7.5 Gbps.

The equipment will include 8 GB of RAM and a flash drive with a capacity of 128/256 GB. The microSD expansion slot will be available.

Power will be provided by a 4500 mAh rechargeable battery with support for 45 W fast charging.
