Nokia officially released the Nokia 1.3 back in March 2020 with Android 10 (Go edition) out of the box. Today, the company announced the official release of the Android 11 update for this smartphone. According to the company, the update will roll out in batches. Thus, if you do not have the OTA notification, you may have to be a little patient. The report shows that Australian users will be the first to get the Android 11 update for Nokia 1.3. This push will be complete later today (July 24th). The second phase is for other markets, but there is no information on the specific push time.
The Nokia 1.3 comes with a 5.71-inch IPS HD waterdrop screen. This entry-level smartphone comes with a quad-core CPU (Qualcomm Snapdragon 215) and 1GB RAM. It also comes with 16GB of internal memory and supports microSD cards. Well, this device uses Android Go thus the 1GB of RAM will not be a problem. According to Nokia, this device supports low-light imaging so you can snap pictures after sundown. In the camera department, this smartphone comes with a single camera on both sides. On the front, it comes with a 5MP selfie sensor. However, the backside comes with an 8MP sensor with an LED flash.
Under the hood, this device has a 3000 mAh battery. According to Nokia, this device comes with an “all-day battery to keep you charged for longer”. Considering the internals of this device,m 3000 mAh capacity is just enough. Nokia also promises that the Android 10 (Go Edition) comes with a “faster and more secure way of doing things”.

Nokia is one of the few companies in the market that releases timely updates for its smartphones. Some flagships in the market do not have the Android 11 update as of now. However, this is an entry-level device from Nokia getting the Android 11 update. The Android 12 is currently brewing and not many flagships have it for now. The Nokia 1.3 comes in Cyan, Charcoal, and Sand colors. The starting price of this smartphone is 95 Euros ($ 101).
